Exmouth
Exmouth has a secret: It is a truly fantastic tourist location! When we first visited we were amazed by just what a wonderful place it is. First and foremost, it has 2 miles of beach.
The Beach
A stroll along Exmouth beach takes you from the characterful houses near to the marina, along the tourist focused area of the seafront to the start of the Jurassic Coast which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Town
Exmouth has a superb range of shops which are less than 10 minutes walk from our bed and breakfast. There is a pedestrianised center where many of the major retail chains are represented. plus lots of smaller side streets that are lovely to browse and offer something different. If a bustling, friendly atmosphere is then why not visit the bustling Exmouth Indoor Market. Local businesses
The Estuary
The Exe estuary is renowned internationally renown as a site of special scientific interest and an important habitat for wading and migrating birds. It is also a fantastic site for lovers of watersports with Kitesurfing, Windsurfing, Sailing, Water-skiing and Wake boarding all happening on a regular basis.
A trail for bikes and walkers runs along-side the estuary to Lympstone, soon to extend all the way to Exeter.
